Getting Started

Getting Started: Publishers, Estates & Agents

Set up your rights-holder organisation, list your first title, and connect payouts in under an hour.

This walkthrough takes you from zero to your first live, licensable title. Estimated time: 45–60 minutes.

1. Create your organisation

Sign up, then on the onboarding screen choose Rights-holder. Enter your trading name, country, primary contact, and ABN (if AU). You'll automatically become the org owner.

2. Connect Stripe for payouts

Go to Billing → Connect Stripe and complete Stripe Express onboarding. This takes 3–5 minutes and unlocks net-7 payouts. Until charges_enabled is true, producers can't pay you.

3. List your first title

  1. Open My catalogue → New play
  2. Enter title, author, synopsis, cast size, duration
  3. Upload a cover image (3:4 portrait works best)
  4. Toggle Amateur and/or Professional availability
  5. Set territories (defaults to worldwide)
  6. Define pricing rules (flat fee, percentage, or hybrid)
  7. Upload your master script PDF — it will be watermarked per-recipient automatically on download

4. Configure auto-approval (optional but recommended)

Open the play, scroll to Auto-approval, and set the rules below. Most amateur productions can be auto-approved safely.

  • Performance type = amateur
  • Venue capacity ≤ 400
  • Within default territories
  • Org compliance current

5. Publish

Toggle Published on. Your title now appears in the public catalogue and on your storefront page.

Want producers to land on your branded storefront? Enable Storefront public in your org settings, then share /p/your-slug.
