All purchases on the Platform are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other mandatory law that cannot be excluded. Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable rights you have under the ACL.
Independent Theatre Licensing is an intermediary platform: licence fees, script-seat fees and royalty-related payments are paid to the rights-holder, not to us. We do not hold those funds and are not in a position to issue refunds for them. Any refund of a licence fee is at the sole discretion of the rights-holder.
1. Subscriptions (Rights-holder plans)
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings — no questions asked. You keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Subscription fees already paid (monthly or annual) are not refunded, in whole or in part, for the current period or any prior period, including where the subscription is cancelled, downgraded or unused.
2. Withdrawing an application before payment
Producers may withdraw a licence application at any time before payment is captured, including after the licence has been auto-approved. Withdrawal is free, immediate, and releases the title for other producers. To withdraw, open the licence and click Withdraw application.
3. Licence fees (after payment)
Once payment has been captured, the licence fee is paid directly to the rights-holder and is non-refundable from us. Any request for a refund, partial refund, credit or rebate of a licence fee must be made to, and is at the sole discretion of, the rights-holder. The Platform is not a party to that decision.
4. Script seats and box-office collections
Script-seat payments (per-recipient watermarked script downloads) are passed through to the rights-holder net of platform fees and are non-refundable once issued, because the watermarked material is generated and made available immediately. Refunds to ticket buyers via any box-office integration are the responsibility of the producer's box-office provider; platform fees on validly refunded ticket sales are returned to the producer.
5. AI marketing-check charges
Per-check fees for AI marketing reviews are non-refundable once the check has been initiated, because the compute cost has already been incurred.
6. Promoted listings
Promoted-slot and featured-listing fees are non-refundable once the promotion window has begun, regardless of impressions, clicks or conversions delivered.
7. Incorrect charges
If you believe a charge is genuinely incorrect (for example, you were billed twice for the same item due to a technical error), contact support@allentertainment.com.au within 30 days. We will investigate and, where a technical error by the Platform is confirmed, correct it. This is not an entitlement to a refund for change of mind, cancellation, or dissatisfaction with a third-party rights-holder or producer.
